Questions (FAQs)
Why play music?
What instrument?

The Phillips Music Guild of Indianapolis benefits from the great generosity of Indianapolis musicians who give freely of their time to support the Guild's education mission.  Nonetheless, we do incur a considerable expense to offer these programs.  There are significant costs for facility access, music purchases, instruments, insurance, and administrative costs, for example.  We depend on gifts from granting organizations and many individuals who want to see our mission fully achieved in the community.

If you are able to make a financial contribution to the Guild, please mail that donation to:

Phillips Music Guild
7715 Traders Hollow Lane
Indianapolis, IN  46278

We also gladly accept donations of musical instruments in any condition.  If the instrument is suitable for student instruction, we put it to use directly.  If the instrument is not suitable for student use, we will sell the instrument to provide funds for the Guild's ongoing operation.  If you would like to make an instrument donation, please contact Craig Parmerlee at (317) 291-9506.

If you are interested in becoming a mentor, please contact Kent Pierce at (317) 571-9389.

The Phillips Music Guild of Indianapolis is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity.
